Description
Straw Mushrooms are small and plump mushrooms that are harvested in the egg stage. It has a tender texture and a more pronounced flavour than matured mushrooms. Straw mushrooms are one of the key ingredients in Asian cuisines, particularly for stir-fries and clay pot dishes. To bring out its natural flavour, drain off the brine and rinse the straw mushrooms before use.
